Chinese primary students'art and craft creations exhibit in Canada

On Aug 29th, 2004, the 6th Canada Bromont that lasts for 3 days concluded successfully. The event attracted art fans all over America and Canada. Art creations of Chinese primary school students were the first Asian representatives invited by Can-share Connection Inc. Canada (CSC Canada) and Bromont art festival organization. There were 111 creations shown on the exhibition, gaining great enthusiasm and commendation, which were reported as "
Chinese primary school students exhibition gaining great attention" by local media. Face to face activities of Kids to Kids win success.
The creations on show included crafts, calligraphies, paintings, stamp collections and so force designed by pupils. Except for peculiar Chinese art style—calligraphy, colors and ideas were what attracted more. Works of far away Chinese pupils' were under hysteria buying as Christmas gifts. A pupil's work embodied our common idea of protecting environment, gaining attention of an international environment protecting organization. Since "We are concerning the same thing!" they buyed it, showing their desire to hold exchange projects with CSC Canada and Kids to Kids in Golden Time, bringing Chinese kids into the big world.
Many Dalian kids joint in the event, making Chinese kids joint with the big stage of real world.
Crafts made by Qizhi primary school students in Shahe district gain much attention, as the colors and the shapes were creative and bold.
Works from Taoyuan primary school in Zhongshan district, Shiyan primary school, Xiangsan primary school and Xiangyi primary school in Xigang district and from Zhuanghe primary school feast viewers'eyes; especially the handwriting embodied the core of Chinese arts and crafts.
Works from Six 1st primary school in Ganjingzi district, Shidao street primary school and Xiangsan primary school in Xigang district and North East road primary school in Shahekou district are also paid much attention. Crafts on show win full of praise.
Bookmark collections from Nine Three primary school in Lvshunkou district and cloth-attached paintings form North East primary school in Shahekou district conquer a majority of audiences in terms of their dedicated creative idea and abandon culture details.
Moreover, works from Qingyunlinhai primary school in zhongshan district, Shuxiangyuan primary school in Shahekou district and May 4th primary school in Xigang district desire themselves on the show.
Works made by Teacher Hanhong and Teacher Yu lifeng are given to the local government as gifts.
Many Canadian kids so admired Chinese kids that they were painting live to present Chinese little artists. Though Chinese kids weren't there, the Face to Face communication had already realized. It can be said that next year when kids are really Face to Face, it will be more exciting.
At present, most works are conducting their journey as an emissary of the friendship between China and Canada, exhibiting in different schools in Canada.
The event, acted as Face to Face communication activity, receives enthusiastic support and care of government from both sides. In China, it gains great support of Dalian Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, P.R. China, Dalian Association For International Exchange of Personnel (DAIEP), and the second department of Dalian Administration Basic Education. With the help of every aspect of Canada local government, it will gain more—Kids to Kids 2005 summer camp will be held in Canada under the financial support of government.
